For those of you who keep a TV in the bedroom, then you might want to know about sleep timers! On Samsung’s smart TVs, you can find the option to set your television to automatically turn itself off after a certain time.
This is good practice if you regularly find yourself falling asleep with the television on, or if you simply can’t stand the blinking light of standby when you’re trying to get to sleep.
Picture Settings
Most people know how to reach the quick menu of picture settings from their remotes, but that’s only because it’s such a useful feature. By adjusting the picture quality at a whim, you can ensure that your television’s settings are best suited to the environment and lighting in your home.
For example, if it is a dark evening, pick cinema mode for a less intense but more atmospheric picture quality. Picture mode can be accessed from the ‘tools’ or ‘settings’ button on most smart TV remotes.
Picture in Picture
Some televisions will allow you to watch two programs at the same time on the same screen. This means that you can keep up with the news without sacrificing your football game. Not all televisions have this option, but it can be a handy option for sports fans.
Bluetooth Headphone Support
